Substack is the home for great culture
I gotta say I'm kind of over the cool thing when it comes to Christian podcasts -- like they are more cutting edge than older Believers. There is one advert in particular for a "cool dude" Christian podcast that makes fun of quilted Bible covers. I don't have a quilted Bible cover, but I'm sure there are plenty of quilted Bible covers covering a lot of bibles owned by some mighty prayer warriors who have seen more in their faith life then the cool dudes who take ice baths and have the perfect pair of pants and beard and wax job....sorry John! The cool dudes are fellow believers too, but come on..(sorry, I shouldn't rant about other believers but it is so arrogant to think style indicates spiritual depth).
